50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World opened it’s gates for the first time on October 1st, 1971. While Walt Disney World did not officially celebrate the Grand Opening until Oct 25 of that year, October 1st was when Walt Disney World Ambassador Debby Dane Browne led the first guests through the gates and into the Magic Kingdom. On opening day guests could experience the Magic Kingdom, two hotels and Fort Wilderness Campground. Fast forward 49 years and guest can now experience four theme parks, two water parks over 25 resorts and so much more!
As Walt Disney World is preparing to celebrate it’s 50th Anniversary, no one could have predicted that it’s 49th year would look like this. With so much going on Disney was forced to temporarily pause bookings for the later part of 2021. But good news… THE WAIT IS OVER! Bookings are now available for those who wish to celebrate Disney’s 50th Anniversary in person at the parks!
Little Palm Travel has been working hard to get the guests on their waiting list booked and ready for the celebration. We would love to help you navigate the new booking process that is associated with a vacation to Walt Disney World. The processes may have changed but Little Palm Travel is up to date on the best booking practices and are excited to help you plan your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
