Two of the most popular restaurants at Disney springs are Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe. Both are exquisitely themed and two of the most fun restaurants you'll find at the springs! We’ve complied a list of tips to make your visit to these locations even better!
The same things that make these restaurants such amazing places to eat on one side tends to create the biggest downside for both restaurants… long wait times. In the past it hasn't been uncommon for the wait to run anywhere between one and two hours for dinner. There are a limited number of reservations that will appear on the Disney Dining Reservation System, but again it's very limited. So often times these restaurants will not show availability during peak times or normal mean guests hours.
So here's tip number one:
Call the restaurantS directlY
This does not work at Disney owned and operated restaurants but for third party restaurants it can often mean grabbing a coveted dining reservation with out any hassle. A quick Google search and a short phone call asking to make a reservation and you're so set!
UPDATE: Due to less guests being allowed in the restaurants at this time, only Landry’s Select Club Members are able to call directly for advanced seating.

This brings us to our second tip:
Join Landry's Select Club
There is a $25 fee to join the club, however on you first visit you will have a $25 Welcome Reward just for joining! Not only that but you'll also get an additional $25 Birthday Reward every year on you birthday. Throughout the year you'll also be able to earn additional points for purchases (1 point for every $1 you spend) that can earn you an additional $25 Reward for every 250 points. So the membership fee is essentially returned to you but then after that you'll receive a free $25 Reward every year just for being a member! The club comes with lots of perks but our second favorite perk is that you get priority seating with the card. Meaning if you didn't know your plan and weren't able to call ahead, you just walk up, let them know your a Landry's Select Club member and you skip the long wait and see typically seated within about 10 minutes!

Eat on the patio at the Lava Lounge
This is the patio off to the side of the main restaurant and it's accessed by walking right through the volcano! It's a beautiful deck patio with a full bar, high tops and standard tables. It also provides a backdrop for some spectacular sunsets over Disney Springs! We know for some that sitting is out here loses some of the theming which is the primary reason they eat at Rainforest, but for anyone looking for a beautiful setting to enjoy some peace and quiet during a meal after a long day in the parks, we can't recommend the Lava Lounge patio enough!

Tip number 4:
Eat breakfast at Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom
So many people aren't even aware that you can eat at Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom, much less that breakfast is offered. It's a great way to start you day off early or the perfect escape from the hottest Disney park for lunch or dinner. The breakfast is not only delicious but also one of the most affordable Table Service breakfast in Disney property. Because it's so affordable, we recommend saving you Table Service credits for another meal where you get a much better value out of them if you are using the Disney Dining Plan. They have great Eggs Benedict, fabulous smoothies and juices and while we don't love coffee, the coffee drinkers in our party really enjoy it!

Yak & Yeti is also a part of Landry’s Select Club
You can enjoy Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs so if you’re looking for another way to beat the Animal Kingdom heat, you can hop into Yak & Yeti. It’s Pan-Asian food set in the Asia land Animal Kingdom. If you are looking for something other than Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex Cafe, Yak & Yeti is a great option!
